Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate


The University of Miami Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Program prepares participants to lead Lean Six Sigma projects in organizations and industries across multiple sectors. Organizational demand is on the rise for Lean Six Sigma professionals to assist with the improvement of business processes and the enhancement of team efficiency.

Professionals possessing the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt credential employ problem-solving techniques, including the DMAIC framework, to improve business processes, reduce waste, assure quality control, and increase consumer satisfaction on improvement projects. Learners will gain the knowledge and skills needed to successfully lead Green Belt-level projects. The University of Miami Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Program is conceptually aligned with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Body of Knowledge. However, this is not an exam prep program.

(4) Utilizing Lean process improvement principles to increase value delivery through waste reduction and organizational efficiency
(5) Applying Lean and Six Sigma concepts and methodologies to lead continuous process improvement (CPI) projects
