The University of Miami Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) program enables working professionals or adult students with personal obligations to complete a bachelor’s degree designed to support career goals and accommodate a busy lifestyle.

BGS students have the unique opportunity to select upper-level coursework across academic disciplines to create an individualized area of concentration. The program also allows students to choose class times and formats to devise a flexible schedule.

The program is ideal for those who were previously unable to finish their bachelor’s degree, professionals who earned an associate degree but would like to augment their education to enhance their resumes and increase their potential, or adults with children or full-time jobs.
