The University of Miami Project Management Professional Certificate Program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for all facets of the project management process across a broad spectrum of disciplines. The program is designed for those considering project management as a career, those who engage in project management in the workplace, and those interested in becoming a Project Management Professional® (PMP®). It is also well-suited for professionals who lead, support, or participate with individuals who perform project management.
The program’s curriculum focuses on the core competencies outlined by the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Students will gain a comprehensive foundation of essential skills and learn from certified Project Management Professionals. The program is also approved for 48 professional development units (PDUs) by PMI® for those seeking recertification.
In addition, digital badges are also available to graduates, allowing them to highlight and share their acquired skills and competencies with their current or future employers.
